Splitvolt Showcasing Market-Disrupting EV Power Sharing and Charging Solutions at CES 2023

Includes Newly-Released Splitter Switch for Affordable and Safe Power Access for Level 2 EV Charging at Home

Santa Clara, California – Jan. 3, 2023 – Splitvolt today announced that it will showcase its portfolio of 220V – 240V, Level 2 power sharing and electric vehicle (EV) home charging products at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) from Jan. 5 – 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Its newest product, a Splitter Switch that includes robust safety certification, built-in intelligence and a new stylized look, will be front and center at Splitvolt booth #4370 during the event. Other solutions on display will include its first generation, award-winning Splitter Switch™, 240V portable EV chargers, as well as adapters and 240V extension cables.

Splitvolt products are designed to make charging an EV at home more affordable, fast, and safe. Its Splitter Switch allows EV owners to automatically share their home’s existing 30 amp dryer circuit with an EV charger without the high cost, complexity, and time associated with an electrician installing a dedicated EV charging circuit. Within moments of opening the box, anyone can easily and safely share an existing dryer circuit with their EV charger and receive seven times faster charging.

“Splitvolt’s solutions can save first time or repeat EV owners thousands of dollars and weeks of time, bypassing the need to install an additional dedicated circuit for Level 2, fast home EV charging,” said Daniel Liddle, founder and CEO of Splitvolt. “Our mission is to facilitate adoption of EVs among homeowners by giving them convenient and affordable solutions for powering their EVs.”
